In Castle Empire, players assume the role of alliance leaders and join forces with other players to confront the remnants of the old empire. The game emphasizes the enduring spirit of chivalry, encouraging players to eliminate evil, protect the weak, and construct castles for their people. By forming alliances with rebel factions, players can unite against the oppressive forces of the old empire together.
One standout feature of Castle Empire is its unique castle building mechanics. The game offers an infinite zoom feature, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the cutaway perspective of their castles. Players have the ability to assign rooms within their castles, train residents, and create their own dream castle.
The inclusion of casual tower defense gameplay adds another layer of excitement to Castle Empire. Although this feature is currently available only in single-player mode, it provides strategic depth alongside a more relaxed gameplay experience. This mode requires a certain level of finger flexibility and coordination.
In Castle Empire, combat is conducted in real time on large-scale maps. Players have full control over their units, with the ability to switch seamlessly between marching and combat modes. Multiple teams can engage in battle simultaneously, offering opportunities for flexible tactics and real-time decision-making.
